Ready for an exciting outdoor adventure and discovery with Backcountry Unlimited? 

Our Spring Break Adventure Day Camp is like no other in Arizona, dedicated to active outdoor learning adventures each day.  Campers can expect to participate in a wide variety of adventure activities, nature studies, survival skills, arts and crafts with opportunities to rock-climb, hike, mountain bike, kayak, learn outdoor cooking and much more. Campers will learn leadership, self-confidence, teamwork, outdoor skills, and appreciation for the natural world, all while making new friends, improving fitness and having the time of their lives. 

Spring break 2020 Backcountry Unlimited will offer a week-long session, Monday, March 9, 2020 – Friday, March 13, 2020.  The camp is open to youth for ages 6 through 11 years old. Campers participate with peers in all our great outdoor activities at age-appropriate levels. 

Adventure day camp is based out of Watson Lake Park, Prescott, Arizona. Adventure Day Camp meets each morning at a central location of Watson Lake Park then head out for the day’s adventure. We are based out of Watson  Lake Park, Prescott, Arizona. Camp begins with check-in each day from 8:00– 9:00 AM and ends each day with pick up from 4:00 – 5:00 PM

StaffProgram Staff:

All of our staff are extensively interviewed and go through a complete background check before being hired. As role models, the staff is selected for experience, sound judgment, maturity, enthusiasm, and creativity. Training occurs both before programs and throughout the year to ensure staff is providing the best possible experience for campers. Staff in leadership roles and specialized activities such as rock-climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking have received appropriate training and certifications from a nationally recognized certifying organization.  All staff is also certified in First Aid and CPR.
