Theme: Reptiles & Amphibians
Add to My CalendarJun 11-15, 2018
Last Date to register: Tuesday, January 1st, 2999

The third week of Summer Camp!

The theme for this week will be reptiles and amphibians. During this week we will focus on identifying a variety of reptiles and amphibians, and enjoy a special visit from well-known local herpetologists (subject to change depending on guest teacher schedules). We will search for elusive salamanders as well as learn about the difference between venomous and nonvenomous snakes in Tennessee. Crafts will include making polymer clay critters.

Numerous activities will be offered throughout the summer regardless of weekly theme. Activities include archery, art, bicycling, climbing, crafts, crawdads, creek play, ecology, exploring, felting, games, gardening, hiking, knitting, music, nature study, paper making, pottery, rappelling, singing, trampolining, tree climbing, wildlife, yoga and much more! Our focus is on nature, the environment and ecology. We strive to provide a safe fun place where children can enjoy wide open spaces and learn to love and respect our natural environment.

Come play outside with us this summer!
