Camp Jano India
a real fun filled summer camp for children Age- 5 - 13years where they will truly celebrate the Incredible India. The kids will be divided into groups according to age.
Children will discover Indian culture, languages, arts, festivals, literature, cuisine, leaders and heroes.
The theme for each week is brought to life through related arts, dance, games, projects, stories and theatre! Spoken Hindi in the mornings, followed by cultural learning in the afternoons gives a well-balanced cultural experience. Highly interactive, exciting, educational, structured, unique content and style. There are plenty of exciting, engaging, creative, educational indoor activities and projects.
Children will Not be outdoors in the sun all day. This is Not a play outdoor only camp.
Hindi in the Mornings (9:30am – 12noon)
• No prior knowledge required for the Beginner Group • Those with prior exposure will be in Intermediate or Advanced group • Focus is on spoken Hindi through activities, games, stories and drama • Each week has unique content according to the theme of the week • For e.g. kids with no prior exposure will be able to do accelerated Level 1 and those with prior exposure will do accelerated Level 2/3 based on their ability.
Indian Culture in the Afternoons(1:00pm - 4:00pm)
• Each week has new theme! • Conducted in English, & Hindi children learn about India through structured and fun interactive activities. • The activities and projects are specific to the theme of this week. • Drama and theatre are the highlights and means to put together the essence of that week! • There are so many activities and projects planned that we will run out of time! • Children will discover something new about India everyday. • Each minute the kids will be enthralled to learn new things and explore about India, the culture, land, people, arts, cuisine and more! • Children really begin to appreciate their heritage. • They will get answers to their questions which they always had. • They will become proud to be Indian and be able to tell their school friends as to what India really is. It is not the land of tigers, elephants and snake charmers! It is truly incredible in its contribution to the World!

Registration Policies: View Registration Policies

Cancellation and Refunds January May 15 : Registration fee will be refunded minus processing fee of $25/per week/per camper if we receive the request on or before May 15th. May 15 - May 31: A processing fee of $50/per week/per camper will be applied if we receive the request on or before June 1. No refunds/cancellations will be made after June 1. Camp fees are not refunded or prorated for days of camp missed due to illness or injury. Policy applies to all camp cancellations, regardless of original sign-up date.

Pickup Policy & Late Pickup Fees The dropoff time is 9:15am for regular campers and 8:00am for campers in pre-care. Early dropoff fee of $3/min will be applied before 9:15am for regular campers and before 8:00am for post-care kids. The pickup time is 4:00pm for regular campers and 6:00pm for campers in post-care. Please pickup children as soon as camp ends in order to avoid late pickup fees. A late fee of $3/min will be applied after 4:15pm for regular campers and after 6:00pm for post-care kids.

Camp Cancellation If for some unforeseen circumstances the camp is cancelled by USHF, then full money will be refunded to the participants.

Behavior Policy If your child is found to be disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe or cause of security issue in any form or not able to follow camp rules in the Camp by the camp staff, he/she will be dismissed from the camp for the rest of the camp duration. USHF will offer no refunds. Camp staffs decision is final and I agree to abide by that decision. Liability for any material damage caused by childs behavior at camp will be borne by the parents.

Prorating & Pricing There is no prorating of camp fees, should the child miss any day or enroll midweek. Pricing options can be used within 24 hrs. If someone registering chooses one option and then later wants to regsiter for more weeks that needs to be counted as a separate new registration after 24 hrs of the previous reigstration.

Liability Waiver I state that I am the parent and/or legal guardian of the student(s) I am registering. As the parent or authorized representative, I hereby give consent to have my child attend the US Hindi Foundation (USHF) Programs. I will not hold US Hindi Foundation and its staff liable of any accidents, physical or other injury from any and all claims, demands, costs, expenses, and compensation. I will not hold US Hindi Foundation and its staff liable for any injury, accident or misuse of any services and materials provided by the organization and its staff.

Medical Waiver I recognize that under ordinary circumstances, every effort will be made to contact the parents in case of illness or emergency. However, in some situations USHF authorities may need to get permission from or turn the care of my child over to one of the adults indicated on the registration form. In the absence of these or any other specific directions, USHF authorities are empowered to use their best judgment in the interest of the health and safety of my child. I will not hold US Hindi Foundation and its staff liable of any accidents, physical or other injury from any and all claims, demands, costs, expenses, and compensation. In case of an emergency, I give permission to US Hindi Foundation and its staff to obtain medical care. This care may be given under whatever conditions necessary to preserve the life, limb or well being of my child. I agree to these terms freely and voluntarily without inducement for myself.
