Creative Writing Workshop 2019

This workshop is an activity-based course focusing on the fundamentals of composition and the necessary components of quality pieces, namely unique characters and settings, sensory detail, figurative language, strong word choice, and appealing conflicts. Students will use various locations on campus and the lush natural surroundings as inspiration for their writing. Included in this course will be creative games, swimming, and team building activities. Students of all skill levels are welcome.

This class will be taught June 3-7 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is open to rising 4th-8th graders. Students should either bring their lunch or money to purchase lunch in the café. The tuition is $380.
