Add to My CalendarJun 24-Jul 13, 2019
Last Date to register: Saturday, June 1st, 2019

Summer Theater Conservatory engages your child in every aspect of a musical theater production; acting, singing, and dancing, as well as costume, prop and set design.  Students discover and refine various theater skills in classes and workshops and then apply these new abilities directly to production. Coached by theater professionals, students gain confidence, get creative in all avenues of theater-making, and make memories that will last for years to come!

This three-week conservatory session will feature two simultaneous productions: For students going into 6th, 7th 8th or 9th grade this camp's production will be BEST OF BOTH WORLDS The best — and worst! — of both worlds meet when fantasy meets the harsh reality of school in this toe-tapping, pop musical adventure!  When Cinderella’s stepsisters find a portal to another world, they get zapped into a very real high school and decide to never return. A comically ambitious Woodsman who dreams of being a storybook hero pursues the stepsisters to bring them back and recruits the help of Danica, a hard-core realist who never believed in fairy tales and only sees the dark side of life.  Kids will love this delightful show while simultaneously learning valuable life lessons about what it means to be alive, the pursuit of dreams and controlling your own destiny.

PLEASE NOTE:  due to the Indepence day Holiday, there will be NO CAMP on July 4th and 5th.  Student who need to take extra days off for traveling MUST get clearance PRIOR to casting on the first day of camp.  unexcused absences will affect performance roles.

PERFORMANCE INFO:  There are two performances of the production:  the evening of Friday July 12th and the afternoon of Saturday July 13th immediately followed by a strike/pizza party.  Students MUST be able to make both performances.

EARLY CARE:  Early Care, from 8:00am-8:45am, is available for purchase by the week as a registration add-on.
