Add to My CalendarJul 14-19, 2019
Last Date to register: Friday, July 12th, 2019

This camp offers a unique blend of backcountry adventuring, teambuilding, and hands-on service projects. Campers will be introduced to the skills necessary for traveling in the wilderness: how to navigate with a map and compass or a GPS device, map making, and backcountry preparedness while also working together on meaningful projects to help VINS maintain its 327 acre Old Pepper Place Nature Reserve. Throughout the week, our experienced instructors will guide campers through daily orienteering hikes, teambuilding challenges, and a trail building project. Participants will experience, firsthand the responsibilities and demands of living and working as a team, will build confidence in themselves, and have a blast doing it in this fun, supportive and safe environment.*

*All activities will be supervised by highly trained instructors and adhere to American Camping Association standards.

NOTE: This is a week-long overnight camp beginning on Sunday and ending on Friday.
